Kings Community Church in Upper Northam Road, Hedge End held an EU In/Out referendum debate at 7.30pm on 13 June in order to help local residents decide which way they they will vote on the big day. Speakers were asked from the business community and elected politicians. It was telling that since too few from the “Leave” side agreed to speak, several from the “Remain” camp had to stand back. In the end four of the south east region MEPs spoke, Catherine Bearder, Liberal Democrat MEP, Anneliese Dodds Labour MEP, Ray Finch, UKIP MEP and Richard Ashworth Conservative MEP.
